THE RIDE OF PASSAGE: I RODE INTO THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE SO YOUR BEEF DIDN’T HAVE TO

I went to the Golden Triangle in December 2023 because I needed to see the machine with my own eyes. By 2025, the world finally caught up.

I TOLD YA’LL A BIG STORY WAS COMING

Captain Sidd took me to the seat of the Chinese Mafia.

That’s not a metaphor. That’s not a tease. In December 2023, my dear friend Captain Sidd engineered what we called the Ride of Passage โ€” a motorcycle run across northern Thailand, straight to the banks of the Mekong River, straight to the gates of Kings Roman Casino in the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone. Three nations converging at one point. Laos across the water. Myanmar upstream. The architecture of impunity built where jurisdictions go to die.

I filmed it. I posted it. I told ya’ll: “The human, drug trafficking, and international money laundering that goes on in this part of the world is fascinating. Big story developing out of this part of the world I assure you.”

That was April 2024 when I finally wrote it up. The ride was December 2023.

I want you to sit with that timeline for a second.

Because in October 2025, the United States Department of Justice indicted Chen Zhi โ€” Chairman of the Prince Group, Cambodia-based transnational criminal organization โ€” for operating forced-labor scam compounds engaged in the largest cryptocurrency fraud operation in American legal history. Fifteen billion dollars in Bitcoin seized. The largest DOJ forfeiture. Ever. In the history of the department. One hundred and forty-six targets designated simultaneously by the US Treasury as Prince Group TCO members โ€” forced-labor pig-butchering crypto investment scams, run from fortified compounds, using trafficked human beings stripped of their passports and forced to defraud strangers at gunpoint.

Same network. Same Mekong border corridors. Same shadow geography I rode into two years earlier with a camera and a gut feeling.

Then December 2025: Thailand’s Central Investigation Bureau and Anti-Money Laundering Office moved on the same Prince Group nodes inside the kingdom. $318 million in assets seized. Bank accounts. Crypto wallets. Yachts. Luxury vehicles. And $188 million in Bangchak energy company shares โ€” because when you launder at that scale, you buy into respectable things. Forty-two arrest warrants. Twenty-nine executed.

And threading through every indictment: Thai government officials.

WHEN THE OFFICIALS ARE THE OPERATION

This is the part that doesn’t surprise me. Not one bit.

I didn’t ride to the Golden Triangle because I thought it was a tourism stop. I went because the Beef Initiative is built on one foundational truth: the middleman is the problem. The opaque system is the problem. The unverifiable chain of custody โ€” in beef, in money, in human movement โ€” is where the rot lives.

Deputy Finance Minister Vorapak Tanyawong resigned in October 2025 after allegations surfaced that his wife received more than $3 million in crypto proceeds from the networks he was charged with dismantling. Provincial Electricity Authority officials โ€” assistant governor level โ€” were arrested for running illegal crypto mining operations inside the scam compounds, collecting monthly bribe payments of up to 400,000 baht to keep the power on and the inspectors away.

January 2026. Chiang Dao District โ€” the exact stop on my 2023 route where I filmed a video about a failed cabbage crop. Six officials arrested. Two deputy district chiefs. Selling fake Thai residency documents, birth certificates, and nationality papers to Chinese nationals linked to northern scam networks.

The Anti-Corruption Organisation of Thailand called 2025 the year of “Networked Corruption” โ€” their chairman naming it explicitly: not isolated bad actors, but patronage networks operating as a system, extracting rents from every flow that passes through weak-governance border zones.

The 2025 US Trafficking in Persons Report flagged it too โ€” corrupt Thai officials protecting agriculture and poultry business owners from inspections, migrant labor trafficking risks running through the same source countries feeding the scam compounds, official complicity impeding enforcement at every level.

The United Nations confirmed it in February 2026 โ€” grave abuses against trafficked persons inside the Golden Triangle scam centers, the same SEZ geography I documented from the riverbank.

I’m not a journalist. I’m a cattleman from the Llano Estacado who built a global #BeefIntelligence network because I understood something simple: you cannot fix what you cannot see. And the powers that be have spent decades making sure you cannot see.

THE AG VECTOR NOBODY TOLD YOU ABOUT

Here is where I need ya’ll to lean in.

The same corrupt checkpoints running crypto laundering and human trafficking are running cattle.

Livestock smuggling across Mekong and Golden Triangle routes โ€” Laos to Thailand to Myanmar into Chinese markets โ€” operates through the same bribed inspectors, the same falsified documentation networks, the same official protection rackets implicated in the December and January busts. Hundreds of thousands of head per year. Same syndicates. Same border architecture.

Sound familiar?

Think about what that means for the protein supply chain.

Wildlife laundered into the meat trade. Drugs hidden in livestock shipments at crossing points. Cattle documentation falsified with the same bureaucratic machinery selling fake birth certificates in Chiang Dao.

If you cannot verify the provenance of a human being crossing a border, you cannot verify the provenance of a carcass clearing a checkpoint. If an assistant governor-level official is on the payroll of a crypto scam compound, he is available to the livestock smuggler next in line. The corruption is not sector-specific. It is infrastructural. It is the operating system of the opaque middleman economy โ€” and it runs on the same unverifiable, untrackable, trust-nobody-but-pay-everybody logic that the consolidated meatpacking industry has been importing into American supply chains for thirty years.

This is why I went to Thailand.

This is why I secured Beef.com.

WHAT WE BUILT AND WHY IT MATTERS NOW

I come from agricultural poverty. West Texas dirt roads. The Caprock. Comancheria. I did not build the Beef Initiative because I wanted to be in the cattle business โ€” I was already in the cattle business. I built it because I watched the middleman economy strip ranchers of market access, strip consumers of supply chain truth, and strip the American food system of the sovereignty it was built on.

160,000 miles driven. Three continents. One and a half trips around the globe in less than three years of #BeefIntelligence fieldwork. I went to Belize and floated the Mopan. I dove the Blue Hole like I told myself I would when I was a little boy watching Jacques Cousteau. And I rode a motorcycle to the gates of Kings Roman because I needed to understand the machine that profits from opacity โ€” in its most concentrated, most brutal, most financially sophisticated form.

What I saw in December 2023 was not a curiosity. It was a proof of concept for everything I was already building against.

Beef.com is not a website. It is verified routing. Digital provenance. Real-time Beef Index. Sovereign AI on rancher edge devices that settles the chain of custody at the source โ€” before the middleman touches it, before the packer consolidates it, before the opaque system can insert anything unverifiable into the chain.

The 2025-2026 primaries prove what I scouted on the ground. The $15 billion DOJ forfeiture, the $318 million Thai seizure, the Chiang Dao document fraud, the livestock smuggling running through the same corridors โ€” all of it confirms one thing: the blind spots in the global protein supply chain are not accidents. They are features. They exist because opacity is profitable, and because the people who profit from it have spent decades buying the officials who guard the checkpoints.

You cannot audit your way out of a corrupt checkpoint. You cannot regulate your way out of networked corruption. The only answer is to make opacity structurally impossible โ€” to settle provenance at the ranch, in real time, before the chain of custody ever reaches a border crossing or a packing floor or a derivatives desk in Chicago.

That is what we built.

THE NEXT CATTLE DRIVE

I told ya’ll back in April 2024: we are about to start the next local and global modern-day cattle drive and every one of you is a hired hand.

I meant it then. I mean it now with everything the last two years have confirmed.

The train wreck I saw coming โ€” I said we built a new rail system. We tested it. We have results. What the Golden Triangle showed me in December 2023 is that the stakes are not just rancher margins and consumer prices. The stakes are the integrity of the global protein supply chain itself โ€” and whether the people who eat beef anywhere in the world can know, with certainty, that what they are buying did not pass through the same shadow infrastructure that laundered $15 billion in Bitcoin and trafficked human beings into crypto scam compounds.

That is the question Beef.com was built to answer.

I’m from agricultural poverty and dirt roads and I have been telling you a big story was developing out of this part of the world.

It developed.

Now pull yourselves up by your bootstraps and saddle up.

Because the next move is ours.

โ€” I Am Texas Slim, are you?
