Simple: A Path Back to the Land

Gratitude is thanking God after it happens. Faith is thanking God before it happens. Simple.

For a girl who once was.

The Journey of a Lifetime

High in the heavens, the chemistry of our world and life combine—racing around and slamming into each other, forming images, reflections, chaos, peace, and destruction.

Chemicals and inertia combine to create our life as we understand it, as we perceive it, and as we live it…

A Prayer from the Beginning

On Halloween 2010, I walked into my living room in Austin, Texas.

See, I truly am just a little kid from Canyon, Texas, with no formal education. I grew up in agricultural poverty, and so did my best friend and wife. She, too, is just a little kid from Canyon, Texas.

I was contracted out by several big tech companies, and we had just relocated back to Austin from the dirt roads of West Texas and the southeast part of New Mexico—a place I like to call the “Deadlands.”

The person standing across from me that night was not that little kid from Canyon, Texas. That moment in time, that angle of view I was witnessing on Halloween 2010…

I was looking into the abyss of something—and someone—I’d never seen before.

It was the most terrifying thing I’d ever witnessed. As that day progressed, strange events unfolded, and a deadly need to know gripped the consciousness of the moment. The reality of what I was facing, and what we are now up against collectively, began to take shape in my mind.

(Outside Mott, ND – Harvest of ’21)

What did this nation do, and what did these two little kids steward during their lifetime to bring them to this moment?

What has been sold to us as a nation and as individuals over the last 50 years?

Let us all arrive at “the here” together. Remember, this is one big collaboration.

The here and now begins with a word, one word:

Simple.

Throughout the years since 2010, my beautiful wife and I have gone on a journey, thrown into it both involuntarily and voluntarily.

I like to call it “Breaking the Chain” from the causes and effects on our mind, body, and spirit.

Breaking the systematic chain of #MPAC—the Medical-Pharmaceutical-Agricultural Complex.

Let’s jump forward to 2018, the year of the Bayer-Monsanto merger.

Write that down.

Slim, 2019 in Boston – Big Tech “Think Tank”

FAANG—Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, Google—and Microsoft, LinkedIn, Alphabet…you get the gist.

Some of the best minds in the world were talking about human behavior. They were giddy and ecstatic that we now have the attention span of a goldfish. That was the buzz analogy around the internet. We no longer have the ability to focus—and neither do our children—and some of the richest people in the world know this.

Jump ahead to 2019: Skinny and Slim on the road. That’s the nickname I gave her when I wrote a love letter back in 2009.

I saw something, and I tried to outrun it, I tried to circumvent it, but I did not escape it. It was a cry for help to reach someone who had now gone missing.

These two little kids from Canyon, Texas, had almost made it up to Maine.

We were on reconnaissance and were going to watch the sunrise from a rock.

A rock where, if you’re there early enough, you can position yourself to be the first person to see the sunrise in the continental United States.

A place called Cadillac Mountain.

We didn’t make it.

A series of events stopped us in our tracks, and, unfortunately, it’s happened many times during our life together.

Was it our fault we didn’t complete our journey that year? Yes and no.

At this point, the “analysis paralysis” of it all is over for us as a couple and as a family.

Millions of Americans are witnessing, living, experiencing, and suffering through what almost killed my wife and me. And I know for a fact, many of my family members have had to suffer as well.

The Harvest of Deception

The Harvest of Deception marked the beginning of understanding and clarity for most of the general public.

Over my lifetime and in the last 15 years, I have been on a journey to save my wife’s life first, then my own, and now the future health and sovereignty of our children.

Starting in 2019, I began a new strategy. It started on a mirror in a trailer on several acres of land on the dirt roads of West Texas.

As a family, along with a short list of people willing to shake my hand, we created the I Am Texas Slim Foundation and The Beef Initiative.

Who am I?

My name is Tracy. I’m a boy named Sue from the dirt roads of West Texas.

I woke up one day and realized no one was going to come save my wife or me.

I looked in the mirror and made a promise.

Over the last four years, people have had the chance to witness everything I have done as an individual and everything our family and core team have created and innovated.

I am a strategist.

I always have been.

When I was a young boy, the society that once gave me access to the lifestyle my grandparents forged for me was gone.

We are here to protect our heritage and legacy.

We have one, and so do you.

I Am Texas Slim, Are YOU?

Current Cast of Characters:

Nana T – My mom and the treasurer of the I Am Texas Slim Foundation. She’s 78 years old and a widow. My stepfather Otis was a wonderful, giving man. We love you, Otis.

Now, she makes baby dolls for older women here in the Texas Panhandle who suffer from Alzheimer’s and dementia. Most of them are widows who probably came from farms and ranches. It helps with their nurturing ways, both for Mom and the women she shares her stories with.

Dad – A master LCDC counselor with 28 years of experience, now 83 years old.

He’s saved hundreds of lives through his wisdom and spirit, but he also knows addiction and its causes. He ran Kids Incorporated in Canyon, TX, for over 20 years and still works closely with the current management. He’s part of the community; we grew up together in this small town.

Amy Jill – My wife, now a professional photographer, is finishing her Behavioral Sciences degree at West Texas State University. Each semester I’ve been on the road, she’s made the honor roll and even the President’s List.

She and my father established a new division within the I Am Texas Slim Foundation.

“Windy Whispers”

Tex Randall – Small Town Texas.

There’s Ole Tex… He’s been looking down Highway 60 towards Hereford, TX, my whole life. Some damn good people over there I’ll introduce you to.

Amy took that picture. Photography has been part of her recovery, seeing things with a new view. We’re going to get young girls in the saddle so they can whisper some wisdom to the world. But first, they’ll meet their new best friend: a horse named “Peaches.”

Justin Trammell – The first man I shook hands with. Oh boy, we’ve come a long way in our collaboration.

It started with a micro-processing center right outside our small town—Panhandle Meats Processing. The Trammell family is a national treasure. As we move forward, I’ll tell you more about them. They’re “family” here in this small town.

For now, check out the Rancher’s Storefront. There are now five locations and counting.

Justin and I have put together The Beef Initiative Association Council. Lots more to come from there.

I could keep rambling, but I’ll pivot and say a few things from my heart, my mind—and even out loud—on this Sunday afternoon.

I start my day around 4 a.m. every day. Always have. It’s in my DNA, thanks to my family.

Most of the people we’re about to introduce you to are good folks.

They are the salt of the earth. Take a look—Ole Ruffshot and I have been mapping out the U.S.

We’ve joined forces to do many things collectively for our minds, our bodies, and our spirits.

When strangers wonder who the hell I am, I look them in the eye, shake their hand, and say:

I Am Texas Slim.

Now, I tell a nation—my name is Tracy. I’m a punchy West Texas hippie-punk cowboy, and I make no apologies, nor do I ask for permission.

What I’ve been doing is preparing to invite a nation to step forward with authority and say:

I Am Texas Slim, Are YOU?

You now have a supporting cast of characters and thousands of ranchers, farmers, moms, dads, wives, and children who have your back.

It’s time to saddle up, folks. This modern-day cattle drive is leaving the corral, and yes, in 2025, there’s a chance to go on a newly discovered cattle drive with all of us cowboys and cowgirls.

Do you know who invented the Chuck Wagon? Now, that’s a journey worth exploring.

My Mission

I’m living my life like it’s Texas, 1880. I’ve got a cheat sheet.

We have a nation to feed, children’s lives to save, and parents to educate.

Our heritage is now, and now should be loud and proud.

I am Texas Slim. I’m heading far into the horizon of this new cattle industry. I’ve traveled the world, seen this country from the vantage of a pickup truck, just like a rodeo cowboy.

It’s Amarillo By Morning, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Much love and grace from the Family of Texas Slim.

Up next: #KYC – Breeauna Sagdal and “Know Your Cow.”

Cole Bolton – He’s got something up his sleeve, but I can’t find him. He’s that Texas cowboy rancher from East Texas that most of y’all already know.

Jason – Well, if he ever slept, I might catch him at 4 a.m. I think I’ll just go see him in the beautiful Norfolk Valley in Colorado—Wrich Ranches.

Have you ever been?

We have.

We’re Here.

Yeehaw and Yippee-Ki-Yay! I’m heading boot-scootin’ into the future. Think you can figure out which direction?

I challenge you to try.

Shake Your Rancher’s Hand
