The Cattleman’s Feast at Bitcoin ‘24 Offers Inside Look At Decentralized Agribusiness Model

NASHVILLE, TENN. – July 15, 2024 – The Cattleman’s Feast is a two-day event showcasing The Beef Initiative’s efforts over the past three years to build a truly decentralized, regenerative, parallel economy for food security. While the U.S. continues to rapidly lose family farms, and the food supply has become import dependent, four multinational conglomerates have emerged as centralized monopolies. The Beef Initiative, which connects individuals to their nearest farmers, developed in response to these monopolized market shocks, and supply chain interuptions that have persisted in the wake of critical infrastructure collapses.

Hosted in partnership with the Bitcoin 24’ Conference, the Cattleman’s Feast takes place Friday, July 26, and Saturday, July 27, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Music City Center. Touted as “the food freedom event of the summer” by farm, ranch and consumer advocates, the Cattleman’s Feast will show how the buying power of Bitcoin during hyperinflation can save our nation’s farms and protect food sovereignty. Event organizers empower the public to come taste and see the difference, while experiencing  “the cleanest beef in the nation,” served Friday and Saturday evening.

“We’re excited to introduce the public to the concept of food freedom as a pivotal key to unlocking the shackles around health, wealth and bodily autonomy—one locale at a time, beginning with Nashville,” remarked Beef Initiative founder Texas Slim. “Everyone has a seat at this table, and we invite you to come taste our beef and see firsthand the ethical, sustainable and parallel agribusiness economy we’re building to empower families and build a future of freedom.

On Friday, July 26, individuals of all ages are welcome to take the ice plunge challenge, learn to rope, experience a Bitcoin farmers’ market, and enjoy the all-you-can-eat Texas Taco Tango. On Saturday the 27th enjoy a steak dinner with entertainment from featured country music star, Karen Staley. An expert panel will discuss the use of innovation to save family farms, followed by an independent rancher-supported Tomahawk ribeye eating contest where your favorite carnivore influencers will go head-to-head to win the title of “Beefiest Carnivore.” Tickets can be purchased in advance and promote The Beef Initiative’s mission to support local farmers and ranchers. Save an additional 10% with the discount code “Clean Beef.”

Event partners include BetterFedFoods, which utilizes digital technology and sustainable practices to improve farming outcomes, while promoting environmental and corporate stewardship; CrowdHealth, a new health insurance model focused on reclaiming bodily autonomy and independence from pharmaceutical monopolies; and the Weston A Price Foundation (WAPF), a nonprofit dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the American diet through education, advocacy and research.

Quotes

“Regenerative farming is scientifically proven to help farmers and ranchers optimize herd health and crop yields while reducing waste. The Cattleman’s Feast is an exciting opportunity to share how a parallel agri-economy offers solutions for climate challenges, biodiversity, soil health, human health, and more.”

– Steve Clark, BetterFedFoods

“We hope that our mission of self-empowerment along with the fun-filled events of Friday and Saturday demonstrate our company’s heart-mind-soul ethos and the future we’re building together.”

– Andy Schoonover, CEO, CrowdHealth

“The Weston A Price Foundation has spent years warning the public and public servants alike about the dangers of centralization and the web of corporate monopolies controlling our food supply. Bureaucratic protectionism has only grown since the market shocks of the Covid-19 pandemic. We’re proud to take part in a solutions-focused event, marking a momentous turning point as we leverage private innovation to fortify the diaphanous links holding our supply chains together.”

– Kathy Kramer, Executive Director, Weston A Price Foundation

Texas Pushes for Controversial, Searchable Electronic Cattle Registry

For decades, animal rights groups and media have painted ranchers in a negative light—portraying them as cruel, outdated, or inept. Now, this cultural smear campaign has seeped into public policy with Texas bills like HB 147 and HB 1417, proposing a centralized, searchable livestock brand database. Ranchers argue that such a system, under the guise of efficiency, could become a tool for surveillance, control, and forced compliance with global agendas.

BREAKING: House Republicans Launch Investigation Into Point Reyes Ranch Closures

Twelve historic ranching families were forced off Point Reyes under a controversial deal brokered by The Nature Conservancy. Now, House Republicans have launched an investigation into what some are calling environmental overreach and quiet land grabs. At the heart of it all is a growing fight to preserve America’s ranches—and the food security they provide.
